Digital Images
Canvas Complete can produce beautiful works of art from images produced by today’s digital cameras providing they were shot at the camera’s highest resolution setting. To determine the size of the image after downloaded to your computer right click on the image and slide down to properties. There should be no problem working with any image larger than 1 MB in either a TIFF or JPEG format. Canvas Complete will contact you if the image we receive is not adequate to produce the finest quality image on canvas that you would be proud to own.
Photographic Prints
Many of our customers send us their photo prints by way of Canvas Complete’s photo mailers. All images mailed to us will be returned with the beautifully produced canvas. However, care must be taken in not sending a one of a kind photograph as Canvas Complete cannot guarantee replacement if loss or damage occurs in transit to or from us. If the image is irreplaceable we suggest that you make a high quality duplicate to send to us and retain the original.
If you scan a photograph
Scan photographs on a flat bed scanner at 300 dpi resolution and save the file in RGB mode using JPEG format. Always use the highest quality setting with the lowest compression.
Photographs can be scanned at many local photo and copy centers.
